John Patterson | Family Lawyer Ipswich

John Patterson is a Senior Solicitor at Best Wilson Buckley Family Law in the firm’s Ipswich office.


Originally from Toowoomba, John worked in the Brisbane office from 2015 before relocating to Ipswich at the beginning of 2018 and is looking forward to being closer to his local area and providing family law services to clients outside of the capital city.

John was admitted to practise law in 2014, and holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Business (Economics) as well as his Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice.

Prior to joining the family law fraternity, John worked in a large top-tier commercial firm across a variety of practice areas. John has a keen interest in both parenting and property settlement matters, and his top-tier background gives him a unique insight into the commercial realities facing family law clients. John enjoys helping his clients through what can be an incredibly challenging period in their lives, and to him nothing is more important than helping people and their families.
