Since joining the team in 2016, Kiara has gained exposure to the world of family law by working with our family lawyers across the Brisbane, North Lakes, and Ipswich offices. Throughout her time with the firm across various facets, including her role in assisting Alecia Connor with the establishment of the firm’s North Lakes office at the beginning of 2018, she has gained a unique insight into the firm and acquired a great deal of experience and exposure to working with clients.
Kiara is passionate about resolving matters at the earliest opportunity and on the most mutually beneficial terms without unnecessary conflict. Supporting people at a difficult time and towards a rewarding resolution to their family law matters are driving forces behind her desire to practise family law.
In addition to her Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, Kiara holds a Bachelor of Journalism from Bond University.
Expertise and Professional Qualifications
Kiara works alongside Amity Anderson and John Patterson across all areas of family law including property settlements, parenting, and domestic and family violence matters. Also responsible for all Applications for Divorce in the firm’s Ipswich office, she is well-rehearsed in assisting clients through this stage of their family law matter and often appears in the Federal Circuit Court of Australia where required.
