Katrina is a Senior Solicitor in Best Wilson Buckley Family Law’s Toowoomba office.
Katrina has over 20 years of experience in the areas of family and criminal law, firstly as an Articled Clerk in private practice, as an Associate to Her Honour Judge Richards, and then ultimately as a practising solicitor following her admission in 2008. Prior to joining Best Wilson Buckley Family Law, she worked in a number of roles, firstly for the Director of Public Prosecutions and then within a not-for-profit organisation in Toowoomba. This unique blend of government, not-for-profit, and private practice experience has gifted Katrina with an in-depth knowledge of complex legal systems together with incredible advocacy skills.
Katrina has a history of consistently achieving positive outcomes for her clients in Court, but more regularly by agreement without costly and emotionally-exhausting litigation. Her clients routinely benefit from her well-rounded approach and her extensive experience in this niche area of the law. In addition to her Bachelor of Laws from the Queensland University of Technology and her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, Katrina has completed a number of leadership and practice management courses through Focus HR and the Queensland Law Society. Katrina combines her formal education and practical experience to provide leadership and support to her clients and colleagues alike.
