Hello, I'm Jade.

I’m a Law Clerk at Best Wilson Buckley Family Law and proudly based in our North Lakes office.

My legal career began at the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia Registry in Lismore, where I spent four years working across a range of Associate roles. Most recently, I worked as Associate to Her Honour Judge Best for 18 months, providing me with invaluable insight into the family law system and the impact legal practitioners can have on families during difficult times.

Why Family Law?

I work in family law because I understand that people are often navigating one of the most challenging periods of their lives. Being able to help clients achieve positive outcomes for themselves and their children is incredibly rewarding, and I value the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives every day.

Why Best Wilson Buckley Family Law?

I was first drawn to BWB during my time at the Courts. The practitioners appearing before Her Honour were consistently well-prepared, professional and highly knowledgeable. Just as importantly, they were approachable and respectful in their dealings with clients, colleagues and Court staff. It was clear to me that BWB had a strong culture and a team I wanted to be part of.

Did You Always Want to Practise Family Law?

Not initially. During my studies, I was interested in international criminal law and human rights. However, once I began working within the Court system, I quickly realised family law was where I wanted to build my career. Working at BWB allows me to develop my expertise across family law, domestic violence and child protection matters while helping clients through some of life's most significant challenges.
