Hello, I'm Emma.

I’m a Toowoomba family lawyer working with Best Wilson Buckley Family Law.

My legal career began in 2018 in Brisbane where I gained invaluable experience in a generalist law firm whilst completing my studies.  Since making the move to Toowoomba in 2021, I’ve worked in commercial, property, and family law before joining BWB in 2023 and becoming a specialist family lawyer.  My desire to specialise in this area stems from a love of working with clients on a more personal level and assisting them during one of the more challenging chapters of their lives.

My background in commercial and property law is a significant asset, particularly in guiding clients through their financial uncoupling.  My empathetic nature also aids clients in navigating parenting arrangements and addressing the complexities surrounding family and domestic violence.

Why family law?

The most fulfilling aspect of my role is the opportunity to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds. No two families are the same, which is why I firmly believe in tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of each client. Regardless of the complexity or uniqueness of their situation, I am committed to guiding my clients through their family law journey with empathy, understanding, and legal expertise.

Why Best Wilson Buckley Family Law?

The entire team at BWB is committed to providing the highest level of family law services to all clients, drawing on the collaborative expertise of a seasoned team of solicitors. This approach ensures that family law matters are handled with utmost effectiveness and efficiency, which also assists to reduce legal fees for our clients.  As a legal practitioner, I’m also motivated to work alongside a team who are all dedicated to ongoing quality improvement for the benefit of those we work with.
