Hi, I’m Nikki.

I’m a Law Clerk at Best Wilson Buckley Family Law and the firm’s Client Relationship Manager.

I have been working in law firms throughout Queensland and New South Wales since 1994. Since 2000, the majority of this experience has been within family law firms. Although I’ve tried to experience what it’s like in different industries from time-to-time, I always find myself drawn back to family law and the challenges and learning opportunities it provides.

As a Law Clerk at BWB, my role is to provide high-level legal support to our lawyers. My endless experience assists both BWB’s lawyers and the clients we work with, whether it be through legal drafting or being able to communicate effectively with clients over the phone in the absence of their lawyer being available.

My role at BWB is also as the firm’s Client Relationship Manager. It is in this role that I act as one of the first points of contact for new clients who enquire with our firm. Whether you are only contemplating separation, or have already begun the journey with another lawyer and are now seeking a second legal opinion, I will explain to you the many options for working with BWB and do my best to answer any burning questions you have about the process of engaging a family lawyer. After all, almost none of the clients we work with ever thought they would find themselves needing our services, and so it’s my job to make this process as easy and painless as possible for you.

Why family law?

Even after more than 30 years in the legal industry, I’m constantly learning and being exposed to different challenges in my role. There truly is never a dull moment in family law – each client we work with is entirely different to the last, and there is always something new to learn. There is no other area of law that allows you to build such strong relationships with your clients, and work so closely with them to find the best possible pathway for their unique circumstances.
