Hi, I’m Sammie.

I’m a Law Clerk working with BWB’s North Lakes team.

I joined Best Wilson Buckley in 2022 after working at Queensland’s Women’s Legal Service for a number of years and enjoy working closely with both lawyers and clients.

 

My desire to work with a specialist family law team stems from my passion of working with victims of domestic and family violence. Speaking to clients, learning who they are, and working with them throughout their family law journey is just one part of my role that I thoroughly enjoy.

 

Why family law?

When I first began my law degree, I always thought I wanted to be a hot-shot corporate lawyer. It wasn’t until I began working in Family Law that I realised how rewarding family law practice is, and I haven’t looked back since. Being available for someone who needs help and support and doing whatever I can to ensure they feel supported and confident, is such a special opportunity and one that never gets old.
