Hello, I’m Katie.

I’m a Paralegal in Best Wilson Buckley’s Toowoomba office.

I joined the BWB team at the beginning of 2024 having previously worked as a property and then commercial paralegal. This experience has gifted me with a holistic understanding of various legal matters which benefits the lawyers I work with, as well as our clients.

In 2023 I graduated from a Bachelor of Laws and, shortly thereafter, I completed my Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. I am looking forward to one day becoming a specialist family lawyer, but in the meantime, I’m thoroughly enjoying the opportunity to learn from so many great specialist practitioners here at BWB.

Why family law?

Throughout my legal studies, I’ve always been drawn to family law and the opportunity it presents to help people when they need it the most. A family lawyer has the power to turn a person’s life around for the better, and I consider it an honour and a privilege to play a part in shaping that journey.
