Lynn Armstrong

Hi there, I’m Lynn.

I’m a Toowoomba family lawyer and an Accredited Family Law Specialist.

I’ve had the pleasure of working in Toowoomba as a dedicated family lawyer since 2005. Personal experience led me to work in this area of law, and each day I’m driven by a desire to show that there is another way to deliver family law outcomes that protects the emotional and financial wellbeing of my clients.

As a Queensland Law Society Accredited Family Law Specialist, Nationally Accredited Mediator, and Independent Children’s Lawyer, I’ve represented clients across all areas of family law and am an experienced negotiator and litigator. The role I play for my clients both in and out of court ultimately aims to ensure an optimal outcome for them and their children.

My professional experience has included both private and legal aid practice, and I possess a wealth of knowledge across parenting (including adoption), property, and domestic and family violence matters. I’m also one of the few experienced family lawyers in Queensland who practices in the intricate, sensitive, and complex area of child protection.

Why family law?

I choose to work in family law because I get to assist families to get their feet back on level ground and to move forward with their lives. My job is to provide accurate and up-to-date information, support, and expertise to ensure you feel supported and confident whilst navigating what is often an incredibly unsettling and emotional period of your life. It is incredibly rewarding to play a part in achieving the most optimal and just outcome for a family, and to leave my clients and their children in a better situation than they were in when they first met me.

Why Best Wilson Buckley Family Law?

The team I get to work alongside each day are all here for the same reason: to support and nurture our clients. The depth and breadth of experience and knowledge that our team possesses is second-to-none, and we use this to support our clients as best we can.

We also understand the difficulties of practising in such a complex and emotional area of the law, and prioritise supporting each other through this each day – after all, if we don’t support each other, we won’t have the bandwidth to be able to show that same support to our clients.
